Salty Fried Chicken with Fragrant Sansho (Szechuan Pepper)

Definitely easier than making your usual karaage (fried chicken), but really, really tasty.

Ingredients

Chicken thigh meat
400 g
●Salt
a scant 1 teaspoon
●Sake
1/2 teaspoon
Sansho pepper
to taste
Katakuriko
4 tablespoons
Frying oil
as needed

Steps

1. Chop the chicken into large bite-sized pieces and rub in the ● seasonings.
2. Then rub in the sansho pepper, and katakuriko. I used two 0.2 g packages.
3. Heat the oil, and add the chicken until cooked through.
4. Serve with lemon juice if you like.
