Chunky Pot au Feu in the Pressure Cooker

If you use a pressure cooker, you can make whole or big chunky vegetables soft and tender for your pot au feu! This is a pot au feu packed with vegetables. It's nutritious and great for dieters!

Ingredients: 4 to 5 servings

Potatoes
4 to 5
Carrot
1
Cabbage or chinese cabbage
1/4
Turnips or daikon radish
4 to 5 turnips or 1/4 daikon radish
Onion
4 to 5 small
Wiener sausages
2 per serving (or as much as you like)
For the soup:
☆Soup stock cubes
2
☆Bay leaf
1
☆Water
500 ml plus
To taste:
Black pepper
to taste
Grainy mustard
to taste

Steps

1. Make a crisscross cut in the bottom of each onion. Cut the carrot into large pieces.
2. Use the potatoes whole. Slice the daikon into 3 cm-thick quarter rounds.
3. Cut up the Chinese cabbage into 2-3 wedges.
4. Put the daikon radish in the pressure cooker first, then add the ☆ ingredients. 500 ml won't make a lot of soup, so add more water up to 1000 ml.
5. Put the Chinese cabbage on top, cover with a lid and start heating the pressure cooker to bring it up to pressure. When it reaches pressure, cook for 1 minute over low heat, and turn off the heat.
6. When the cooker has depressurized, unlock the lid, add the sausages and bring to a boil.
7. Serve!
8. It's delicious with some grainy mustard!
