Macrobiotic Kiriboshi Daikon Cookies

This is a healthy cookie because there are no eggs, sugar, nor oil included.
There are two different versions of this recipe: one with raisins and one with sesame seeds.

Ingredients: 10 servings

White flour
100 g
40 g
Kiriboshi daikon (reconstituted)
15 g
a pinch
50 ml


1. Preheat your oven to 200℃. Finely chop the reconstituted kiriboshi daikon. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together with your hands.
2. Once the dough from Step 1 comes together, let it rest for 10 minutes. Thinly roll out the dough and cut it into your desired shapes. Bake for 15 minutes and it's done!

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make some sweets out of my homemade kiriboshi daikon. They were bathed in sunlight, so the umami flavor is richer!
