This is a recipe for a crisp tart pastry that is low in sugar.
It only uses a small amount of butter and the process is so simple!

Plain white flour
150 g
Almond powder (or white flour)
50 g
30 g
Butter (or vegetable oil)
30 g

1. Sift together the flour, almond powder, and sugar. Beat the egg. Microwave the butter to melt.
2. Put all the ingredients into a resealable plastic container, close the lid, then shake!! Shake, shake, and shake, until you can't shake it any more!
3. It should look crumbly like this.
4. Wrap in plastic wrap, then press it together to form a dough. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
5. Sandwich in plastic wrap, then roll it out with a rolling pin. Press it into a buttered tart mold, and prick in several places with a fork.
