Roast Pork and Apple with Mustard and Ketchup

A mild-flavored dish with a sweet and delicious sauce.

Ingredients: 2 to 4 servings

A block of pork (leg or shoulder roast etc.)
250 g
◎ Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons
◎ Ketchup
2 tablespoons
◎ Honey
1 tablespoon
To taste


1. Preheat the oven to 240°C. Mix the ◎ ingredients together.
2. Pierce the pork all over with a fork, and sprinkle with salt.
3. Peel, de-core and cut the apple into 8 wedges.
4. Fold up the corners of a sheet of aluminium foil to make a square container. Line the pork and apple on top of the foil, and pour the combined ◎ ingredients over.
5. Put the foil packet on a baking sheet, and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
6. Slice the pork. Serve with the apple and vegetables of your choice.

Ketchup and mustard are standard with hot dogs, so I wanted to use this great combination in a dish for the whole family.
