Easy Soft-Boiled Eggs

This is a recipe for soft-boiled eggs that you can easily make in a rice cooker. This also makes for an extravagant topping served over rice.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Boiling water
enough to cover the eggs


1. Bring the eggs to room temperature and put into the rice cooker. Pour in enough boiling water to cover the eggs, turn the rice cooker to the "warming" setting, and wait for 10 minutes.
2. Once 10 minutes have passed, remove the eggs, and transfer to a bowl of cold water.
3. Once cooled, prepare a dish, and peel off about 1/4 of the shells.
4. Turn the eggs over and let drop into the container. Top with any sauce you like and enjoy.
