Put the sake and mirin into a pot and cook off the alcohol.
Once the alcohol has evaporated, add the soy sauce. Right before it begins to boil, add the sugar and turn off the heat.
Leave the pickling sauce to cool to room temperature. (If it's hot, the eggs will continue to cook.)
Pour the sauce into a container and place the eggs in it. Leave in the refrigerator for a day and they're done!

This is for anyone who would like to be able to eat ramen shop eggs to their heart's content♪. The point is to wait until the sauce cools completely to room temperature! Also, don't boil the soy sauce! Make sure to cook off the alcohol from the sake and mirin before adding the soy sauce.
