Beef and Pineapple Stir-Fry

I love stir-fried pineapple...even if I'm in the minority. I paired pineapple with beef, and added richness with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients: 3 to 4 servings

Beef (I used thinly sliced round)
about 200 g
about 200 g
Canned pineapple
3 slices
1 pat (about 10 g)
Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
3 tablespoons
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
Grated cheese (I used Kraft Parmesan Cheese)
2 tablespoons
Black pepper
To taste (a generous amount)


1. Put the butter into a frying pan, and stir-fry the beef and cabbage.
2. When it's halfway cooked add the Worcestershire-like sauce, soy sauce and mirin, and continue stir frying. Add the pineapple which has been cut into bite-sized pieces.
3. When the sauce has reduced a bit add the black pepper and grated cheese, and mix in.
4. Finished. The sweetness of the pineapple and the richness of the cheese go well with rice or drinks. Try it out!
5. I used Kraft Parmesan Cheese.

Story Behind this Recipe

I like stir-fried pineapple, so I tried stir frying it with beef, with added grated cheese for richness.
