Pork-Wrapped Apples

The combination of pork and apples is sweet, tart, and delicious.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Thinly sliced pork
12 slices
Apple (tart baking apples like Kogyoku)
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Honey or sugar
1-2 teaspoons
Soy sauce
a small amount
Salt and pepper
a small amount


1. Remove the stem and core of the apple, then cut into 12 pieces.
2. Wrap the apples with the pork. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and cook Step 2. Once the meat has cooked through, use a paper towel to sop up the remaining oil.
4. Finally, add the butter and honey to Step 3, then pour in the soy sauce. Coat the pork in the sauce and serve.
