5-Minute Grilled Leeks in Lemon Mustard Marinade

This is the perfect appetizer to accompany your evening glass of wine!
You'll be amazed how delicious you'll be able to make your leeks just by grilling them.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Japanese leek
2 large
[For the lemon mustard dressing:]
Olive oil
1.5-2 tablespoons
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Whole grain mustard
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
to taste (I recommend a generous amount)


1. Mix together the dressing ingredients. Chop the Japanese leek into 4-5 cm pieces, sprinkle with salt and olive oil (not listed above).
2. Grill the Japanese leek on a grill or in a toaster oven until golden brown (about 10 minutes in an oven set to 200℃). Be careful not to burn them!
3. Soak the leeks in the dressing while still hot. Stir them up once or twice while marinating, and serve after about 5-10 minutes.
