Ginger Miso Stir-fry with Pork for Bento

I tried adding miso to my usual ginger stir fry and it was aromatic. Enjoy in your bento or as a side dish for dinner.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Thinly sliced pork loin for ginger pork
300 g
Plain flour
a small amount
●Blended miso
1 teaspoon
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon
2 teaspoons, grated
Toasted sesame seeds
as needed
Vegetable oil
as needed


1. [Seasonings] Mix the ingredients marked ● together.
2. Cut the pork into easy to eat lengths, and lightly coat with flour. Coat a frying pan with vegetable oil, turn on the heat and add the meat.
3. Turn the meat over when the surface has turned white. When it is starting to turn brown, add the seasonings from Step 1.
4. When the sauce has thickened, turn the meat over again, and simmer until shiny. Sprinkle on some sesame seeds if you like.

Story Behind this Recipe

I like ginger stir-fries but I get sick of them if they are always the same. I thought about adding miso, and this is how it turned out.
