Easy Vegetable Gyoza with Soy Beans

You can create a meaty and firm texture. Make vegetable gyoza easily at home.

Ingredients: Makes about 30

●Cooked soy beans
1/2 cup
●Onion (roughly chopped)
●Soy milk
100 ml
1 cup (200 ml)
○Walnuts (chopped finely)
1/4 cup
▲Garlic chives (chopped)
1 bunch
▲Shiitake mushrooms (chopped)
about 3
▲Grated ginger
1 knob
▲Grated garlic
1 clove
2 teaspoons
▲Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons


1. Mix ● in a mixer until creamy. Add ○ and ▲ and combine well.
2. Wrap the Step 1 mixture in gyoza wrappers and fry in a heated frying pan. Add 100 ml of water and cover with a lid. Continue to cook for about 7 minutes and uncover the lid to evaporate any water left.
3. Variation: Instead of ▲ use 1/4 chopped onion and nutmeg. Shape into small burgers and fry. You will have soy bean burgers.
4. Variation: You can use the soy bean burgers as veggie burgers.

Story Behind this Recipe

I changed my friend's soy bean burger recipe to make it a gyoza recipe.
This is my favorite right now.
Personally I prefer this to meat gyoza.
