Molten Chocolate Cake

Molten Chocolate Cake

This is very rich and thick! I think this is amazing for chocolate lovers. I couldn't finish eating one, though.

Ingredients: 5 pieces of 6.5 cm diameter x 5cm high cups

Cake flour
30 g
Cocoa powder
10 g
Sweet or bitter chocolate
100 g
90 g
2 large
Granulated sugar
40 g

1. Sift the cake flour and cocoa powder together. Preheat the oven for 180℃.
2. Put the chocolate and butter into a bowl, and melt over a double boiler.
3. Add the eggs and granulated sugar into a separate bowl, and whip. Place the bowl over the double boiler and whip some more.
4. When it comes to body temperature, remove from the double boiler. Whip some more until stiff peaks form.
5. Add the Step ② melted chocolate mixture into Step ④, and fold it in from the bottom of the bowl so that the mixture is evenly blended.
6. Sift the Step ① dry ingredients into Step ⑤, and mix well. It's ok to add it all at once.
7. Pour into the cups, and bake in the oven preheated to 180℃ for 10 ~ 12 minutes.
8. I cooked in muffin cups in this picture. The baking time was 8 ~ 10 minutes.
9. And done.
10. When you scoop with a spoon, the soft and melting chocolate comes out.

Story Behind this Recipe

I created this because my friend really wanted to eat it.
