Basic Bread Dough

This is a recipe for basic English bread dough. This simple bread goes really well with any other dish.

Ingredients: 12 pieces (1 loaf)

Bread (strong) flour
250 g
13 g
5 g
Dry yeast
5 g
160 g
17 g


1. Make the dough in a bread maker or kneading by hand, and let it proof for the first time.
2. Divide the dough into 12 portions, cover with a tightly wrung out kitchen towel, and let them sit for 20 minutes.
3. Form into balls and wait until the 2nd proofing is done.
4. Spray on water and bake for about 15 minutes at 200℃.
