Curry Flavored Potato, Ground Meat and Chinese Chive Stir Fry

The sweetness of the sweet potato and the spiciness of curry really go well together!

Ingredients: 3 servings

Japanese sweet potato
1 medium
Ground meat (mixed beef and pork)
80 g
Chinese chives
1/2 bunch
Sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon
Garlic
A small amount
Ginger
A small amount
Sake
1 teaspoon
● Curry powder
1/2 teaspoon
● Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
1 teaspoon
● Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon
● Salt and pepper
To taste

Steps

1. Cut the sweet potato into 1 cm dice and put in a bowl of water. Drain, and microwave for 2 minutes at 500 W until tender. Cut the chives into 3 cm pieces.
2. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and saute the garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add the ground meat and cook.
3. Add the drained sweet potato, cover with a lid and let it steam. Add the sake halfway through the cooking process and stir in, then re-cover and continue cooking.
4. When the sweet potato is tender, add the ● ingredients to season. Add the chives near the end. When they have wilted the dish is done.
