When You Need Just a Little Crepe Batter

When You Need Just a Little Crepe Batter

You can make 4 crepes out of this recipe in a medium-sized frying pan. This is a simple recipe tailored to those that don't need to make too many crepes. No need for butter either.

30 g
1 tablespoon
50 ml
Cake flour
20 g
Vegetable oil
5 g

1. Add the sugar to the egg and beat together well. Microwave for 30 seconds (without wrap) and dissolve the sugar. Sift the flour into the milk.
2. Mix the flour and milk until it is no longer floury, and then mix in the egg and sugar mixture from Step 1. Then mix in the vegetable oil.
3. Grease a medium-sized frying pan with a thin layer of oil (not listed in ingredients) and pour in the crepe batter. Set the heat to low-medium and cook the batter until the surface is no longer liquid.
4. If you add a splash of vanilla oil (essence) or rum to the batter you'll get even more flavour.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make some crepe-wrapped ice cream for my family, so I worked out the amount of ingredients I would need to make just enough crepes.
