Milk and Curry Soup

This is a milk and curry soup that's subtly sweet.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Vienna sausage
3
Potato
1 medium (approx. 90 g)
Onion
1/2 medium (approx. 90 g)
Carrot
40 g
Water
1 cup
◎Soy sauce
1.5 teaspoon
◎Mirin
2 teaspoons
◎Sugar
1 to 2 teaspoons
◎Bonito based dashi stock granules
1 teaspoon
Milk
1 cup
Curry powder
1.5 teaspoon
Butter
1 scant teaspoon
Dried parsley
as needed

Steps

1. Dice the carrot, potato, and onion into small cubes. Cover the carrot and potato with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute at 500W.
2. Slice the sausages diagonally.
3. Add a small amount of oil in a deep pan. Pan-fry the sausage. Add vegetables and stir-fry.
4. Add curry powder and continue to stir-fry.
5. Add water and ◎ ingredients. Simmer until the vegetables are thoroughly cooked. Add milk and butter and bring it to a boil. It's done.
6. Dish it up and top with dried parsley if you like.
