Easy Macrobiotic Cookies

Easy Macrobiotic Cookies

Really easy! Just weight out all the ingredients and these are done in no time.
The basic recipe is macrobiotic, but you can add whatever you like to the batter.

Ingredients: 10-15 cookies

Whole wheat flour (or cake flour)
100 g
Canola oil
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
Brown rice starch syrup (or beet sugar/maple syrup)
2-3 tablespoons
a pinch

1. Preheat the oven to 180℃. Thoroughly mix the whole wheat flour and salt.
2. Mix the oil, water and rice syrup in a separate bowl.
3. Add the flour from Step 1 to the bowl from Step 2, and bring the dough together into a ball.
4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Take spoonfuls of the dough and shape to form the cookies, then arrange on the baking tray.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. (The baking time will differ depending on your oven. Adjust accordingly.)
6. They are done once they turn golden brown.
