Rolled Cabbage with Fried Tofu and Wiener Sausages

You just wrap up the ingredients and boil them together. This rolled cabbage dish is quick and easy to make.

Ingredients: 2 people

Cabbage
4 leaves
Aburaage
2 leaves
Wiener sausages
4 sausages
Water
300ml
Consommé cube
1
Japanese-style
1 teaspoon
Ginger
2 thinly sliced

Steps

1. Peel cabbage leaves, soak briefly in water, wrap in plastic wrap, and microwave at 600 W for 3 minutes.
2. Spread out the boiled cabbage and let cool. (Shown above are 2 leaves of cabbage that were sliced in half).
3. Wrap the aburaage around a chopstick, and then open it up by cutting it in half (length-wise).
4. Spread out the cabbage on top of the aburaage, and wrap tightly around the wiener. Secure with toothpicks after rolling.
5. Put the ingredients marked with * into a pot and turn on the heat. Turn it down to a low simmer after bringing it to a boil, add the rolls from Step 4, and boil for about 7-8 minutes.
6. Cut each piece into 3-4 pieces and serve onto plates.
7. It also goes great as a side dish in bentos.
