Minced Pork Lettuce Bowls

All you need to do is sauté the ingredients together! This is a sweet and spicy miso flavored minced pork wrapped in lettuce.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Ground pork
300 g
Bamboo shoots (in water)
100g
Shiitake mushrooms
4
Cellophane noodles
about 30g
For the sauce:
・Water
3 tablespoons
・Chicken stock granules
1 teaspoon
・Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
・Tianmianjiang
2 tablespoons
・Shaoxing wine
1 tablespoon
・Sugar
1 tablespoon
・Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
・Ginger (grated in tube)
1/4 teaspoon
・Pepper
a small amount
・Katakuriko
1 teaspoon
Lettuce
1 head

Steps

1. Boil the glass noodles for 5 minutes. Drain in a sieve.
2. Mince the bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, and glass noodles.
3. Mix the・ingredients for the sauce together.
4. Add the meat to a heated pan and brown well.
5. Make sure it becomes crumbly.
6. Add the minced bamboo shoots and the shiitake. Stir them in and continue cooking.
7. Add the sauce and cook quickly.
8. Mix in the minced glass noodles.
9. Done.
10. Shape the lettuce so it forms a bowl to hold the meat.
11. Wrap in lettuce!
12. Also delicious served with rice.
13. If you use miso instead of tianmianjiang, reduce the amount.
14. If you like spicy food, add ingredients like doubanjiang.

Story Behind this Recipe

I make this at home to recreate the taste of a dish I had at a restaurant in Chinatown.
I was chosen as a recipe monitor for Takara brand's "Shaoxing Wine for Cooking" and so I uploaded a recipe using this.
