Easy-simmered Enoki and Wood Ear Mushrooms

These are easy and delightful simmered mushrooms that are crunchy and crispy. When you need one more item, or for drinking appetizers or bento.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Enoki mushrooms
1 bag
Wood ear mushrooms
2 to 3 pieces
Sliced red chili peppers
1 pepper's worth (optional)
● Mentsuyu (2x concentrate)
2 tablespoons
● Sugar
2 teaspoons
● Water
50 ml


1. Hydrate the wood ear mushrooms and chop into thin strips. Slice off the stem of enoki mushrooms and cut in half.
2. Throw everything into a pot and simmer until the liquid is gone. Then it's ready to eat.
