[Farmhouse Recipe] Tomato Sorbet

[Farmhouse Recipe] Tomato Sorbet

You can make a delicious tomato sorbet with only tomatoes, sugar, and lemon juice. With just one little trick, the tomato will transform into a fruit ★

200 g
2 to 3 tablespoons
Lemon juice
1/2 a lemon

1. For best results, use fully ripened tomatoes. Don't worry if they aren't ripened or sweet enough - it will turn out nice in any case.
2. Soak the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 seconds to peel the skin. Slice off the stem and cut in half. Remove seeds.
3. Dice the tomatoes into 2cm cubes. Add sugar and lemon juice.
4. Use a minimum of 2 tablespoon of sugar. Make it 3 tablespoons if your tomatoes aren't sweet enough, or if you'd like the sorbet sweeter.
5. Mix everything thoroughly. Suddenly, it turns into a delicious syrup!
6. Freeze the syrup (step 5) for 2 hours to finish. It's ready to eat when half-frozen.
