Sweet and Salty Beef and Onion Stir Fry

The beef turns out very tender in this sweet and salty stir fry. Great with rice!

Ingredients

Thinly sliced beef
150 g
Onion
1/2
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
●Sake
1 tablespoon
●Grated garlic
as needed
●Vegetable oil
2 teaspoons
●Katakuriko
2 teaspoons
☆Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
☆Sake
1 tablespoon
☆Mirin
1 tablespoon
☆Sugar
1 tablespoon
※Vegetable oil
as needed

Steps

1. Cut the onion into wedges.
2. Put beef with ● marinade in a bowl, and rub in. Let it sit for 30 minutes in the fridge.
3. Mix ☆ sauce ingredients in a different bowl.
4. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the onion over medium heat. Transfer the onion on a plate.
5. Add more vegetable oil to the pan, and stir-fry the beef and separate it. Once it's cooked, return the onion to the pan.
6. Pour in the sauce from Step 3, turn the heat up to high, then stir-fry briefly, coating them with the sauce.
7. Serve on a plate.
