Fig & Almond Tart

This delicious tart is filled with sweet figs and fragrant almonds.

Ingredients: 20 cm tart dish

Pâte à Sucre (pie crust)
your favorite recipe
Unsalted butter
50 g (room temperature)
Granulated sugar
60 g
Almond flour
100 g


1. Make the tart crust (Pâte à Sucre).
2. Make the filling. Cream the unsalted butter. Mix in the granulated sugar and then stir in the almond flour.
3. Break one egg at a time into Step 2 and mix in well.
4. Pour Step 3 into the tart crust from Step 1. Peel the skins off the figs and thinly slice them. Place into the tart filling. Bake for 60-70 minutes at 160°C until browned.

I enjoy eating figs cooked as snacks rather than plain, so I wanted to make something using an abundant amount.
