Easy Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Here are American-styled chocolate fudge brownies For all you chocolate addicts!!
Let's make this super easy and yet extremely tasty dessert.

Ingredients: 15 cm square cake pan

80 g
Cocoa powder
3 tablespoon (20 g)
Light brown sugar (or soft light brown sugar, or even regular sugar)
90 g
Vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml)
Chocolate chips, pecan nuts, etc.
as needed
Flour (preferably self-raising flour)
25 g
100 g
20 g
Sour cream or heavy cream
1 tablespoon (15 ml)


1. Preheat the oven to 180℃. Lightly grease an ovenproof cake pan with butter, then line with parchment paper.
2. Add butter and cocoa powder into a pot and turn the heat on. After it's melted and mixed thoroughly, turn the heat off and set aside to cool.
3. Whisk egg, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
4. Add butter and cocoa mixture into the bowl and mix. At this point, add chocolate chips or nuts if you like.
5. Sift in the flour. Fold in with a spoon and mix well.
6. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
7. Take out the pan and let cool. Even if the surface looks uncooked, don't worry, it will finish on its own.
8. For the frosting: Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Turn the heat off and add heavy cream to finish. Do not mix too much.
9. Wait until the frosting is slightly cooled to spread on the brownies. When the brownies have cooled, slice to serve.
