Skipjack Tuna in Garlic and Soy Sauce

Skipjack Tuna in Garlic and Soy Sauce

The tip is to not cook through! This is a quick dish and has no fishy odor.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Skipjack tuna (sashimi grade)
1 fillet
2 cloves
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
A little
Small green onion
As you like

1. Cut the fish into thick slices.
2. Grate garlic and combine with the seasonings.
3. Heat oil in a pan. In medium heat, line the fish on the pan.
4. It will cook quickly, so it's a race against time! When one side is browned, add the seasonings and stop the heat.
5. Gently brown the other side in residual heat and coat with the sauce.
6. Plate and top with thinly sliced green onions to finish!

Story Behind this Recipe

My son doesn't like raw skipjack tuna, so I made this with his favourite garlic sauce. He gobbled it up.
