Simmered Chicken & Potatoes in Vinegar and Sesame Sauce

Simmered Chicken & Potatoes in Vinegar and Sesame Sauce

I made this simple simmered dish in just 10 minutes! The scent of the sauce paired with the rich flavour and mild sourness of this dish makes it completely irresistible!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken thighs
1 fillet (200 g)
2 small
Vegetable oil
1/2 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
to taste
Vinegar & sesame sauce (Recipe ID: 1162502)
1/3 cup
Green beans boiled in salt water
2-3 pods if you have them

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut them into semi-circles before soaking them in water.
2. Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan, season the chicken with salt and pepper, and cook it.
3. When both sides of the chicken have browned, add the potatoes along with the vinegar and sesame sauce. Simmer the ingredients over a low heat for 9-10 minutes.
4. Take the lid off the pan, mix the ingredients with the sauce, and cook the sauce down. Then transfer the meat and potatoes to a plate and serve with some diagonally sliced green beans.

Story Behind this Recipe

You can make a completely different tasting dish just by adding vinegar and sesame sauce to everyday ingredients. This dish also tastes great chilled.
