Doubled Dashi Stock Punch Makes it Tasty: Tuna, Mayonnaise, and Soy Sauce Pasta

I love the combination of tuna and mayo. The secret ingredient in this dish is the doubled dashi stock! I added soy sauce to make a richly flavored but not overwhelming, delicious pasta.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Pasta
80 g
◎Canned tuna
1/2 can - about 40 g
◎Mayonnaise
2 teaspoons
◎ Dashi stock granules (I used bonito flavored)
1/2 teaspoon
Dashi soy sauce (soy sauce premixed with dashi)
1 tablespoon plus
Olive oil
as needed
Shredded nori seaweed
to taste

Steps

1. Start boiling the pasta. Put the ◎ ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, and when it's hot, add freshly cooked pasta.
2. Cook off the water from the pasta, then add tuna and mayonnaise. Mix together quickly, turn off the heat and add the dashi soy sauce. Transfer to a serving plate, top with the nori seaweed, and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love tuna and mayonnaise, and thought it might be tasty with pasta too.
