New Potatoes With Oil And Miso

Dense and floury new potatoes coated with the sweet-salty miso sauce. This goes so well with rice.

Ingredients: 4 servings

New potatoes
400 g
* Miso
3 tablespoons
* Mirin
1 tablespoon
* Sake
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons


1. Wash the new potatoes very well, and cut them into bite sized pieces without peeling them. Put the cut up potatoes in a bowl of water.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add the well drained and dried potatoes and stir fry.
3. When the oil has coated all the potatoes, turn down the heat to low, cover with a lid and steam cook for 10 minutes.
4. Combine the * ingredients.
5. When the potatoes are cooked through, add the combined flavoring ingredients, stir fry to coat the potato completely with the sauce, and it's done.
