Everyone's Favourite Avocado Open-faced Sandwich

A vegetarian-friendly recipe. Combine avocado, cheddar cheese and tomato for this open-faced sandwich

Ingredients: 2 servings

Bread (I recommend hard breads, such as bloomer or rustic French)
4 slices
Avocado
1
Tomato
1
Cheddar cheese
2 slices
Garlic
1 clove
Salt
to taste

Steps

1. Mash the avocado into a paste with a spoon. Season well with salt and pepper.
2. Rub the sliced bread with the garlic, and toast lightly. Top with cheddar cheese.
3. Spread Step 1 onto the bread, and top with sliced tomatoes.
