Simple Turnip & Minced Meat Creamy Ankake Sauce

Ingredients: 2 servings

Turnips (with leaves)

Ground meat
100g
Japanese dashi powder
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Katakuriko (made into a slurry with water)
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Cut the turnip into 8 pieces. Cut the leaves into 4-5cm.
2. Add 200ml of water, the dashi powder, sake, sugar, and soy sauce to a pot. Add turnips and minced meat and boil.
3. Once boiled, add the katakuriko slurry and mix well.
