Oven-baked Fries

An easy and healthy recipe for oven-baked French fries.
Sprinkle with salt for a simple yet delicious snack.


1 medium
Plain flour
as needed
Vegetable oil
as needed
to taste
Parchment paper
enough to line 1 baking tray


1. Peel the potato, blot off excess water, then slice into 5 mm matchsticks.
2. Lightly coat with flour, shake off excess flour, then sprinkle vegetable oil around the potato matchsticks.
3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then arrange the matchsticks on the paper, taking care that they do not touch.
4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 230°C, sprinkle on salt, then they're done!
5. Here they are cut into wedges with skins.
