Easy Baked Chikuwa with Mayonnaise

This is a quick and easy dish with chikuwa and mayonnaise!
Good as a drinking appetizer or for bento.

Ingredients

Chikuwa
as needed
Mayonnaise
to taste
Shichimi spice (or ichimi spice)
a small amout

Steps

1. Cut the chikuwa into half lengthwise and crosswise.
2. Squirt mayonnaise into the hollows, and sprinkle shichimi spice.
3. Bake for 2- 3 minutes in a toaster oven.
4. It's easier to cut into 1/3 for small bento boxes.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to cook one more side dish, so I used chikuwa fishcake sticks which I had on hand in the refrigerator.
