Easy! Tasty! Basic Meat Sauce

Authentic and tasty, but you can make it so quickly. I bet you'll want to heap the sauce on the spaghetti. It's our family's standard recipe for meat sauce.

Ingredients: for 4 portions

Ground beef
200g
Carrot
1/2
Onion
1/2
Garlic
1 clove
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
For the sauce:
●Canned whole tomatoes
1 can (400g)
●Tomato ketchup
2 tablespoons
●Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
2 tablespoons
●Sugar
1/2 teaspoon
●Soup stock cubes
1 cube
Spaghetti
400g

Steps

1. Mince the carrot, onion, garlic. I make it with a food processor to save time.
2. Heat olive oil in a pot. Add minced carrot, onion and garlic. Add the ground beef and stir.
3. After meat is cooked, add the ingredients marked ● and stir frequently. Otherwise the sauce may splatter.
4. Serve the sauce generously over the boiled pasta. It's best to eat it immediately, but you can freeze it up to a month and enjoy later.
5. You can also use the sauce to make amazing toast the next morning! Put the sauce and sliced cheese on bread and toast.

I got this delicious recipe from my mother so I could make homemade meat sauce rather than storebought sauce for my daughter. It's a dish I've enjoyed since childhood.
