Mince the carrot, onion, garlic. I make it with a food processor to save time.
Heat olive oil in a pot. Add minced carrot, onion and garlic. Add the ground beef and stir.
After meat is cooked, add the ingredients marked ● and stir frequently. Otherwise the sauce may splatter.
Serve the sauce generously over the boiled pasta. It's best to eat it immediately, but you can freeze it up to a month and enjoy later.
You can also use the sauce to make amazing toast the next morning! Put the sauce and sliced cheese on bread and toast.
Story Behind this Recipe
I got this delicious recipe from my mother so I could make homemade meat sauce rather than storebought sauce for my daughter. It's a dish I've enjoyed since childhood. You can make the delicious meat sauce quickly while you're cooking the pasta.
Stir-fry the minced vegetables and ground beef very well and you can reduce the simmering time. This is where the delicious flavors develop. While you make the sauce, boil the spaghetti (7 minutes boiling time needed) next to the pan to make it easier to stir both.
