Gateau Chocolat

With an abundance of chocolate and heavy cream, this extremely thick cake is full of rich flavor.

Ingredients: 18cm cake mold

Chocolate
120g
Heavy cream
100ml
Egg yolk

Butter

Cake flour

Cocoa Powder

Steps

1. Preparations: Melt the chocolate and butter separately. Boil the cream.
2. Add the boiled cream to the melted chocolate and mix.
3. Add the egg yolks and mix. Then add the melted butter and blend together well.
4. Mix together the flour and the cocoa powder, sift into the mixture and mix everything together.
5. In a separate bowl, gently whip the egg whites. Add the sugar in 2-3 batches while whipping. Whip until peaks stand and a meringue is formed.
6. Add the meringue to the Step 4 batter and gently mix. Pour into the mold about 80% full and bake in a oven preheated to 140 degrees celsius for 50-60 minutes.
7. It's also cute if you bake it in a cupcake cup.
