In Taiwan, these are called meat pies.
The filling is made up of just ground beef and onions.
They're simply seasoned with soy sauce and black pepper.

100 g
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
Boiling water
60 ml
Ground beef
140 g
70 g
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
1 tablespoon

1. Mix the flour, vegetable oil, and hot water together with chopsticks. Cool a bit, then knead the dough and let sit for about 15 minutes. Divide into 5 portions and form into balls.
2. Once you finely chop the green onions, mix the ingredients and seasonings together.
3. Flatten the dough balls and use a rolling pin to roll them out to about 10 cm diameter. Top with the fillings and wrap them up.
4. Heat a little oil (not listed) in a frying pan and slowly cook both sides over low heat.
