Homemade Fried Firm Tofu

All you need to do is fry the tofu. When freshly fried, the tofu has a fragrant bean flavor. It's easy to eat up the entire block just snacking on it!

Ingredients

Firm tofu
1 block
Frying oil
as needed

Steps

1. Cut into the side of the drained tofu to make 2 1-cm thick slices. If the slice is too thick, slice it in half again.
2. Heat about 1 cm oil in a frying pan in medium to high heat. Gently add the tofu to the frying pan. Flip the tofu over when the edges start to brown.
3. When both sides have lightly browned, you're done. Eat freshly fried with ginger and soy sauce!!
