For Dieters: Konnyaku Garlic Steak

I lost 8 kg on a konnyaku diet. This is one of those konnyaku dishes. Losing weight eating delicious food is the best!


White konnyaku
Tiny garlic bulb
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Steak sauce
To taste


1. Cut the konnyaku into 2 pieces horizontally. Score the surface in a diagonal crisscross pattern on both sides. This makes it easier for the flavors to penetrate.
2. Slice the garlic.
3. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and stir fry the garlic. When it becomes fragrant take it out.
4. Put a little steak sauce in the pan, and pan fry the konnyaku while coating it with the sauce. Cut the konnyaku into bite-sized pieces, top with the steak sauce and garlic and serve.

I'm on a "konnyaku diet", incorporating lots of low-calorie konnyaku in my meals. I wanted to eat a "steak" even though I'm on a diet, so made this.
