Pan Fried White Fish with Colorful Sauce

Crispy pan fried meunière is served with a colorful and tasty vegetables redolent with lemon butter soy sauce sauce in this light and refreshing dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

White fish - Pacific cod, flounder, etc.
2 pieces
Red bell pepper
1/4
Yellow bell pepper
1/4
Celery
2 tablespoons
Onion
2 tablespoons
● Butter
1 tablespoon
● Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
● White wine
2 tablespoons
● Lemon juice
from 1/4 of a lemon
● Coarsely ground black pepper
To taste
Salt and pepper
To taste
Flour
To taste
Olive oil
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Cut the red and yellow bell peppers and celery into 8 mm dice. Chop up the onion coarsely.
2. Put the cut up vegetables from Step 1 and the ● ingredients into a bowl, and microwave for 2 minutes at 600 W.
3. Season the fish with salt and pepper, and dust it lightly with flour.
4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and pan fry the fish over low heat until browned on both sides.
5. Transfer the fish to serving plates, pour plenty of the sauce from Step 2 over them, and serve.
