*Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce*

It's low-calorie than fried chicken?
But it's the perfect dish with beer. I used my lifesaver chili sauce.
※BTW I call this "chili chicken"

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken (thigh or breast)
Salt and pepper
a small amount
1 clove
Plain flour
a small amount
A) (This is an approximate amount. Adjust to your taste)
Store-bought chili sauce
2 tablespoons
Real mirin
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons
Green beans
desired amount
Mizuna greens
desired amount
New or sweet onion
desired amount
Olive oil
as needed


1. Prepare the chicken by butterflying it and removing the sinew. Season with salt and pepper and coat lightly with sifted flour with a tea strainer.
2. In a heated frying pan, add olive oil and sliced garlic. Take out garlic when it's cooked. Fry chicken with skin side down.
3. Flip over the chicken, add green beans and fry. Cover with a lid and steam-cook.
4. Mix the A) ingredients.
5. When Step 3 is cooked, remove from the pan and cut into bite size. Serve on a plate with B.
6. Add Step 4 in a frying pan and bring to a boil. Pour Step 5 over it and it's done♪

This was inspired by chili shrimp and fried chicken... but I fried it instead of deep frying.
