Seasonal Spring Dish - Easy New Potato and Spring Onion Quiche

This delicious seasonal quiche features the combination of new potatoes and spring onions. It's a bit like German potato salad.

Ingredients: 18 cm pie pan

Frozen puff pastry
2
New potatoes
1 (large)
Spring onions
1/2
Bacon
1 large slice
Consomme soup stock granules
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
to taste
○ Egg

○ Milk or cream
4 tablespoons
○ Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 teaspoon
Melting cheese (optional)
to taste
Parsley
to taste

Steps

1. Layer the puff pastry, press into a pie pan, then poke several holes in the sheets with a fork. Briefly cook the new potatoes in the microwave. Preheat the oven to 190℃.
2. Chop all the ingredients into 1 cm lengths. Briefly stir-fry the onions and bacon in a frying pan and add the potatoes. Mix in the consomme powder, salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
3. When ingredients from Step 2 are cooled off, fill the pie crust. Combine the ingredients marked with a ○ into a bowl and pour into the pie crust. Sprinkle on some cheese and bake for 35 minutes at 190℃, then serve.
