Amazing Tarako Udon (Udon Noodles with Salt-Cured Cod Roe)

Super-easy, and perfect for lunch on your own!

Ingredients: 1 serving

Cooked udon noodles
1 pack
☆ Tarako (salt-cured pollack or cod roe)
2 tablespoons
☆ Mentsuyu
1/2 to 2 tablespoons (to taste)
☆ Butter
1 tablespoon
Nori seaweed or shio-konbu
a small amount

Steps

1. Boil the udon noodles. In the meantime, mix the ☆ ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Put the freshly boiled noodles in the bowl from Step 2. There's no need to shake the cooking water off the noodles.
3. Mix well.
4. Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle on top with nori seaweed or shio-kombu and enjoy.
