My Family's Pork and Garlic Shoot Stir-Fry

My Family's Pork and Garlic Shoot Stir-Fry

This is our family's staple dish. This dish is inexpensive, easy, and delicious!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pork belly, offcuts, etc
about 80 g
Garlic shoots
about 100 g
King oyster mushroom (or your favourite mushrooms)
about 1 large
★Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon
★Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
★Sake or shaoxing wine
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
Katakuriko slurry
appropriate quantity to thicken

1. Chop all the ingredients into bite-sized pieces. Mix all ★ seasonings.
2. Heat oil (sesame oil if available) in a frying pan, and stir-fry the pork. When the colour of the pork starts to change, add garlic shoots and king oyster mushrooms, then continue stir-frying.
3. When they start to cook through, add the ★ seasonings. Bring to a boil, and pour in the dissolved katakuriko. Mix well so that the sauce is evenly absorbed, then it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

When I ate this dish for the first time, they used beef. I prefer pork, so I rearranged it.
