Simple Soy Sauce Flavored Stir Fried Udon

You can make this in a jiffy using leftover vegetables you can scavenge from the refrigerator. Sprinkle with some ao-nori powdered seaweed to taste.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Udon noodles
2 packs
Pork (or bacon, ham, wiener sausages...anything goes)
100 g
● Carrot
1/2
● Onion
1/4
○ Bean sprouts
100 g
○ Chinese chives
a small amount
Water
100 ml
△ Dashi stock granules
1 1/2 teaspoon
△ Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
Butter (optional)
As much as you like
Bonito flakes
To taste

Steps

1. Cut up the vegetables and meat into easy to eat pieces.
2. Heat some oil in a frying pan and stir fry the meat and the ● ingredients over medium to high heat.
3. When the onion is transparent, add the ○ ingredients and mix lightly.
4. Add the water and udon noodles, and stir fry while de-tangling the noodles until there's very little moisture left in the pan.
5. When there's just a little moisture left in the pan, add the △ ingredients and mix everything together. Turn off the heat, put in the butter and mix.
6. Transfer to a serving plate, top with bonito flakes and aonori seaweed powder to taste and enjoy.
