Old Fashioned Nostalgic Maruboro

Maruboro are old fashioned, light cookies made with brown sugar and honey. They are sooo easy. Just mix and bake, and they're done in a few minutes. The simple flavor is very addictive.

Dark brown sugar

Story Behind this Recipe

You don't buy maruboro anymore, do you?
When my child was in kindergarten, the mother of a student I was friendly with moved away due to a job transfer. She used to make these nostalgic boro for me, so I recreated that flavor.
