Caramel Sauce

Fragrant caramel sauce can be used in a variety of sweets.


100 g
Water A
3 tablespoons
Water B
3 tablespoons


1. Put the sugar and Water A into a saucepan, and heat on high while shaking the pan. Heat Water B in the microwave.
2. When it starts to brown remove from heat when it reaches a color slightly lighter than desired.
3. Pour in heated Water B all at once. (Be careful not to let it spatter. It's good to cover the pan with a sieve or some cover during this step.)
4. When making caramel tablets, without adding Water B after removing it from the heat, allow the caramel sauce to cool a little, then drip it on aluminium foil and let it harden.
