Spring Cabbage and Chicken Stir Fried with Oyster Sauce

This goes so well with plain rice. The spring cabbage is tender and delicious.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Chicken breasts
♡ Salt
To taste
♡ Pepper
To taste
♡ Sake
1 teaspoon
♡ Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
♡ Grated ginger
To taste
As needed
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Spring cabbage
4 leaves
★ Boiling water
150 ml
★ Oyster sauce
2 tablespoons
★ Sake
1 tablespoon
★ Weipa
1 teaspoon
★ Sugar
2 teaspoons


1. Combine the ★ ingredients. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces. Flavor it with the ♡ ingredients, and massage them in.
2. Cut the carrot into quarters and slice. Microwave for 2 minutes.
3. Chop up the cabbage leaves roughly.
4. Coat the chicken with katakuriko.
5. Heat the oil in a frying pan and pan fry the chicken until golden brown. Take it out of the pan.
6. Add a little more oil and stir fry the carrot and cabbage.
7. When the cabbage has started to wilt, re-add the chicken and stir-fry.
8. Add the combined ★ ingredients. When the sauce has thickened a bit, it's done.
9. Transfer to serving plates and it's done.
