Deep Fried Tofu and Bean Sprout with Sesame Seed Sauce

This sesame seed sauce goes well with crisp bean sprouts.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Aburaage
1
Bean sprouts
1 packet
● Ground sesame seeds (white)
2 tablespoons
● Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
● Sugar
1.5 tablespoons
● Sake
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Combine the ● ingredients in a bowl.
2. Remove excess oil from the aburaage by soaking in hot water, then draining it, and toast both sides in a toaster oven until golden brown. Slice into 7 to 8 mm thick.
3. Braise bean sprouts briskly in hot water, or heat in microwave, then drain excess water.
4. Add the aburaage and bean sprouts to the bowl from Step 1, toss well, and serve.
