Homemade Meat Sauce

Homemade Meat Sauce

Kids also love meat sauce.
Great for spaghetti or lasagna.

Ingredients

Ground meat (pork/other ground meat)
about 150 g
Canned tomatoes
1 can
Onion
1/2
Garlic
1 clove
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Water
50 ml
Salt
1 teaspoon
Tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon
Consommé granules
1 tablespoon
Bay leaf
1
Mushrooms, eggplants, etc...
to your liking

Steps

1. Mince the onion and garlic.
2. Saute Step 1 in olive oil, and add ground meat when the onion become translucent. Continue sautéing.
3. Add tomatoes, consommé, ketchup, and bay leaf. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Pour the water into the can from Step 3, and pour it into the pan, including the rest of the tomatoes.
5. Taste it and adjust the flavour with salt and pepper.
6. With mushrooms.
7. Cut the eggplant into slices, and stir-fry in oil, then add to Step 5.
8. With eggplants.
