Butter-Soy Sauce Stir-fry with Snow Peas and Shiitake

This is a dish that my mother used to prepare for bento and breakfast.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Snow peas
20
Fresh shiitake mushrooms
2
Butter
5g
Soy sauce
around 5 drops
Umami seasoning
As you like

Steps

1. Peel the strings from the snow peas. Thickly slice the shiitake mushrooms (about 5 mm thick).
2. You could remove the raw taste of snow peas by boiling water in a saucepan over high heat with a pinch of salt and blanch the snow peas for 30-60 seconds. Then drain and shock the peas in cold water. Drain again and then set aside.
3. Melt the butter in the frying pan, stir-fry Step 1. Once vegetables soften, add soy sauce. Sprinkle with umami seasoning to taste.
